| This is the band Backyard Tire Fire. The band started out with Ed Anderson (lead vocals, guitars, & keyboards), Tim Kramp (drums and percussion), and a couple different guys on bass back in 2001. In 2002 they released their first album Live at the Georgia Theatre. Which burned down in June 2009. Soon after the release of their first album Ed's brother Matt joined the band as the new bass player. And now the tri-fecta is complete. My wife and I first seen the band open up for The Reverend Horton Heat in May of 2008 in Dallas. They have quickly became our favorite band. The next year in June 2009 we seen them again in Dallas. They were performing a smaller set. But they were awesome non the less. They (the band) told us that the next night they were driving up to Oklahoma City. Well the next night happened to be my wife and I's anniversary. So we made the long drive up there from Dallas. (Modern day Dead Heads lol) The show was absolutely great. If you ever get a chance to see these guys live I 100% recommend to not pass it up. Not only are they a great band but they are good people too. And that includes their tour manager Nick. We can't wait til the next time guys. Keep rocking!!!! |
